Barcelona Nautic Center prepares its facilities for the uncoming season
At Barcelona Nautic Center, we are continuing to prepare our facilities for the upcoming season. This summer, the main works have focused on the hardstanding areas, as well as on upgrading various services and infrastructure across the center.
Renovation of the hardstanding areas
The main works are currently taking place in the southern hardstanding area, where the entire surface is being renewed. This improvement will make vessel and machinery manoeuvres easier and more efficient. New settling tanks are also being installed, together with a 25,000-litre diesel tank for vessels using Barcelona Nautic Center.
The works are expected to be completed by 21 September, ahead of the start of the new season.

Increased capacity and new technical equipment
The addition of new machinery has expanded the capacity of the facilities. The new equipment includes a 330-tonne travel lift, a 12.5-tonne jib crane and a self-propelled boat transporter with a capacity of up to 80 tonnes. For multihulls, Barcelona Nautic Center also has a 13-metre-wide haul-out pit.
We can currently accommodate motor yachts, sailing yachts and multihulls of up to 45 metres in length, both ashore and afloat. Depending on the requirements of each project, work can be carried out using the equipment best suited to each vessel.

In recent months, the electrical infrastructure has also been upgraded and a coworking area has been created, allowing captains and crews to work while their vessels remain at Barcelona Nautic Center.
With the works scheduled for completion in September, Barcelona Nautic Center will begin the upcoming season with renovated hardstanding areas, new technical equipment and enhanced services.
