At Barcelona Nautic Center, we offer advanced naval engineering and architecture services, focused on ensuring the safety, efficiency, and structural performance of vessels.

We perform structural analyses using the Finite Element Method (FEM), an advanced computational tool that allows us to break down the structure into multiple elements to assess its behavior under different loads. This method helps us determine displacements, stresses, and the load-bearing capacity of each component, ensuring that structures comply with the material’s elastic limits and safety requirements.

We also carry out stability analysis studies and certifications, essential for understanding the vessel’s behavior in the water. These analyses consider the interaction between the center of buoyancy, the center of gravity, and the metacenter, allowing for the prediction of the vessel’s stability and safety during navigation.

To perform these calculations accurately, we estimate the vessel’s weight, which is essential for correctly determining the center of gravity and ensuring that stability analyses are reliable and true to the vessel’s actual conditions.
